    Hey guys!

    We have a very cool video for you this Friday - the second instalment from The Hoosiers. This week, Irwin decides to drink Pepsi Max from a mug (as you do, right??), before performing a nice version of “Worried About Ray” on his small guitar.

    Does he always Pepsi Max before he sings? Have they given up on a life of Tractoring after all? Is Martin still alive? I couldn’t tell you the answers to any of these questions…

    Maxcast announce… The Hoosiers! Maxcast are thrilled to announce the services of another great band – The Hoosiers! The Hoosiers (formerly known as The Hoosier Complex) are a multinational band hailing from both the UK and Sweden. The band consists of Irwin Sparkes handling guitar and vocals, Martin Skarendahl (bass and acoustic guitar) and Alphonso “Alan” Sharland on the drums and percussion. Their time spent in Indiana, USA inspired the band’s name as well as their first creative output: a citizen of Indiana is colloquially called a Hoosier. Their debut single “Worried About Ray” muscled it’s way to No. 5 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2007 and they released their debut album, The Trick to Life, in October reaching the top spot in the UK album charts. The Hoosiers have honed a sound they call “Odd pop”, combining a number of musical genres and references. The boys cite their key influences as The Cure, Jeff Buckley, The Flaming Lips and XTC. The band are currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on their next album and this will be on general release early next year, in between sessions (and maybe even during) they’ll be onboard the Maxcast site and posting up plenty of cool stuff for your aural and visual pleasure!     Maxcast are thrilled to announce the services of another great band – The Hoosiers!
